Plastic welding rods - Assortment 1 | ABS + PP + PE-HD
(Acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene + Polypropylene + Polyethylene "high density")
ABS has a high surface hardness, impact resistance and good oil resistance. Examples of the use of ABS are known to motorcycle and car parts such as panels, bumpers and covers, electronic components, toys, musical instruments and consumer products with increased demands on the impact strength.
Welding temperatures: Welding tool: 255 - 285°C, Hot air tool: 275 - 310°C, Extrusion: 275 - 300°C
PP is resistant to almost all organic solvents and fats, as well as most acids and alkalis. Polypropylene is used in many ways, for example in the mechanical and automotive, container, electrical, medical and packaging equipment.
Welding temperatures: Welding tool: 250 - 280°C, Hot air tool: 260 - 285°C, Extrusion: 250 - 275°C
PE-HD (HDPE) has slightly branched polymer chains, resulting in high-density (HD). Polyethylene is the most widely produced plastic. Examples are the use of container construction, pipes, bottles and films.
Welding temperatures: Welding tool: 250 - 280°C, Hot air tool: 260 - 285°C, Extrusion: 250 - 275°C
