Plastic welding rods PVC-P (Flexible) - Polyvinyl chloride flexible
PVC-P is resistant to acids, alkalis, alcohol, oil and gasoline. Furthermore, PVC is a good insulator. PVC-P is used, for example, for windows, floor coverings, hoses and insulation.
Polyvinyl chloride soft (PVC-P), is an amorphous thermoplastic. The inherently brittle and hard PVC is adapted to various applications with additives, primarily stabilizers and plasticizers. PVC-P has a high elasticity and impact resistance as well as a low water absorption. PVC-P is resistant to acids, alkalis, ethanol, oil and gasoline. PVC is attacked by acetone, ether, benzene, chloroform and concentrated hydrochloric acid. The melting point of PVC-P is about 220°C to 230°C, the continuous use temperature at -50°C to +60°C.
